Ms. Hinden grew up in a family of lawyers and advocates for the “Davids” of the world. Her father’s firm, The Law Offices of Hinden and Breslavsky, represents injured workers in Southern California, so it was only natural that she would follow in his footsteps of helping workers. Her practice however is focused on civil rights matters- employment and housing, personal injury claims and the representation of medical providers in workers compensation.
Ms. Hinden has been inspired to help the underdogs of the world and believes in the amazing scholars who are quoted throughout this site. Others that have inspired her include: Anita Hill, who’s words of: “I did what my conscience told me to do, and you can’t fail if you do that”, and “It would have been more comfortable to remain silent”. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s words of: “The First Amendment requires us to be vigilant in making these judgments, to guard against undue hindrances to political conversations and the exchange of ideas”, and the words of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor who’s words of: “We don’t accomplish anything in this world alone… and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one’s life and all the weavings of individual threads form one to another that creates something…” and “Society as a whole benefits immeasurably from a climate in which all persons, regardless of race or gender, may have the opportunity to earn respect, responsibility, advancement and remuneration based on ability.”
These words played a huge part in not only Ms. Hinden’s desire to help those that she does, but to open her own practice in 2007 to fight for the injustices and help restore a little balance for the little guy/gal.
